Monday night no lifting

Instead of lifting, I just practiced my bench setup in my shirt.  I'm not making huge changes, but I want to learn how to be able to consistently set up.  In the past, sometimes it feels right, sometimes it doesn't, and I don't want that to happen at the meet.


Watching the video, it looks like to me, since my knees are so much higher than the bench, when I try to tighten my legs and glutes, it just causes my butt to raise up. I think I'm going to try moving my feet farther away from the bench, ie not wider because I can't do that, but farther away.

MaxEffort Benching at Golds

I met Stump and Jeff for heavy benching because ripped fitness wasn't open.  I worked up to 405 with 3 boards and felt pretty strong with it.  I then did some tricep rope presses and face pulls.  I'm taking HD video now and it takes forever to upload so I'm only uploading them to youtube now.  The link to today's session is
