Watching the video, it looks like to me, since my knees are so much higher than the bench, when I try to tighten my legs and glutes, it just causes my butt to raise up. I think I'm going to try moving my feet farther away from the bench, ie not wider because I can't do that, but farther away.

Monday night no lifting
Instead of lifting, I just practiced my bench setup in my shirt. I'm not making huge changes, but I want to learn how to be able to consistently set up. In the past, sometimes it feels right, sometimes it doesn't, and I don't want that to happen at the meet.

MaxEffort Benching at Golds
I met Stump and Jeff for heavy benching because ripped fitness wasn't open. I worked up to 405 with 3 boards and felt pretty strong with it. I then did some tricep rope presses and face pulls.
